How To Use The App

How to get an estimate

We automatically use GPS and Wi-Fi to find your pickup location. Once you’re open your App you’ll see your location and address pop up on the screen.

  • Confirm your pick up Address. Address needs to be changed? Tap on the hashtag and adjust. You may also select an address from your drop down trip history.
  • Press the Destination icon and it will prompt you to submit a second address.
  • The estimate will generate. Please keep in mind that fares may vary due to traffic, weather, and other factors.

How to book your ride

We automatically use GPS and Wi-Fi to find your pickup location. Once you’re open your App you’ll see your location and address pop up on the screen.

  • Confirm Address: Address needs to be changed? Tap on the hashtag and adjust. You may also select an address from your drop down trip history.
  • Select Vehicle: Sedan or Van by tapping on icons
  • Book your ride: Select Book Now or Later at the bottom of the screen
  • Confirm or edit trip information
  • You will be notified when your trip is dispatched, the driver, his license number and your order number.
  • Your trip is on its way!
  • Your trip will be stored in History in the menu section if you wish to cancel.

Booking in Advance

  • Confirm Address: Address needs to be changed? Tap on the hashtag and adjust. You may also select an address from your drop down trip history.
  • Select Vehicle: Sedan or Van by tapping on icons
  • Book your ride: Select the Later Icon at the bottom of the screen
  • Select day and time in drop down menu
  • Select Order
  • Confirm or edit Trip details
  • You will be notified that your trip is being processed.
  • You will be asked if you would like a reminder add to your calendar. Select yes or no.
  • Your trip will stored in your History which is located in the bottom left corner sandwich menu. You may select your trip at any time and cancel.
  • When your trip is dispatched, the driver, his license number and your order number will be emailed to you.
  • Your trip details will be accessible through History in the Menu section of the App which is located in the bottom left sandwich bar.

How to cancel your ride

Your trip details will be accessible in History. History is located in the Menu section of the App in the bottom left sandwich bar. Select your trip and cancel. If the trip has already been dispatched and you are unable to cancel please call our reservations staff at 905 333-3333.

Personal Accounts

Transportation is always available for you and your loved ones with a Personal Account.

It’s easy to apply

Email us your request for an account here LINK or call us at 905-333-0077, ext 234 and we will be happy to talk you through the process. All you need is a valid credit card for security.

Authorization and Security Features

Your Personal Account profile stores the names of authorized users. This information includes any restrictions you wish to place on the account.

Convenient Monthly Billing

You will receive an account statement monthly, and original signed slips to easily reconcile your taxi usage. Payment is due upon receipt. For billing inquiries, our Administration department is at your service during regular business hours at 905-333-0077,   ext 234.

Custom Billing

Burlington Taxi provides our Corporate Account Customers with detailed billing once a month. We will gladly customize billing to fit your administrative needs, as well as provide you with back-end tracking and reporting tools for business analysis.

Business Reporting Tools

Our Corporate Clients have full access to the history of every trip charged. We provide reports that detail the exact time a call was entered into the system, when the trip was dispatched, when the passenger entered the vehicle and the exact route taken. If you feel these reports would be helpful, Burlington Taxi will develop a reporting system that best fits your needs.
